AN OPENING NOTE
I worked with Apple on behalf of Kettle for ~2 years. During that time I worked at the App Store supporting social and campaigns. I then made my way to Marcom to work on web designs, illustrations, iconography, and new iPhone release microsites. Highlights from my time at both parts of the business are explored in this case study, starting with App Store. Cheers!
App Store Launch
ILLUSTRATION | CAMPAIGN DESIGN | SOCIAL
The launch of the new App Store was a pivot towards a more modern, editorial user experience. I worked on the digital launch campaign to promote this new UX and Today tab content in a sweeping social campaign. The App Store screen, displayed in-device, remained the center of the composition and the App Store card acted as a window revealing an immersive world. The art direction was carried through across multiple app features, stories, and collections on the Today tab for both launch and post-launch. I owned the “Quest for kicks” launch executions and worked on post-launch promotions.
Post-launch social posts
After the successful launch of the new App Store, I continued creating assets for social to promote games, stories, and collections in the “window” style.
Apple.com
ILLUSTRATION | PUBLICATION DESIGN | WEB DESIGN | TYPOGRAPHY
The Supplier Responsibility page on Apple.com is updated annually to reflect the working and sourcing standards of the company itself and its suppliers worldwide. The site design emphasized the humanistic nature of a highly data-driven topic by pairing images of workers in their daily environment with approachable infographics. I supported the build of the main page by creating illustrations, editing and selecting photos, and owned the Supplier Responsibility annual report.
